What Are the Different Courses Offered in Basecamp?

Throughout Basecamp, you will see four different modules. Therefore, a course can be linked to one or more modules. Each module has a specific purpose, which we have outlined below.

  • Pro Tip: under the course catalog, you can look for courses filtering by the modules.

Essential Modules

Essential modules will be modules that provide general information for all providers. These modules can include new policy changes, new administration updates, related to operations or CGC. Anything that we want to make sure everyone is aware of.

Engagement Modules

Engagement modules are courses that are required for everyone. This will be made an automatic requirement for all physicians, which will count towards your maintenance of membership.

The first two engagement modules is the Welcome to Basecamp course and Maintenance of Membership Course.

These courses, completion is required, not skippable.

Improvement Modules

Think of improvement modules as the hub for quality improvement. Here you will find a variety of courses related to a specific quality metric. These courses will do a dive into best practices, documentation and how these will impact your quality performance.

These will be available to all providers. However, if a physician is failing a quality metric, the course related to the metric will be made a requirement to them.

Onboarding Modules

Onboarding modules, as you can guess, are courses related to new providers with the Piedmont Clinic. We have courses related to APP onboarding, and quality metric onboarding for new physicians.
